Why Was This the Most Watched Video?

At the time preceeding the election last November 2008, the following video was said to be the most watched video on YouTube. It was meant to convey a message at that time, both political and personal.

I'd like you to view this from a post-election perspective. Think of our military that are serving right now, and have served in the past, and their sacrifice. Many do so because it is a calling on their life, they are willing to give it, or parts of it, to see others free...no matter what part of the world they live in. I'm not naive enough to think this is how all of our military feel, but for this young man, and many, many others, it is. Please watch it through to the end, the ending is poignant, and I don't mean the part that is biased toward one candidate or the other.
